Volunteer at the 2017 SCORES Cup

 

Check out the different opportunities we have for volunteers to get involved on July 8th, 2017!

All opportunities are available for both shifts, and volunteers are more than welcome to work both shifts if they wish! Please note that all volunteers must be 18+ years of age for insurance purposes, and all volunteers 21+ years of age are invited to join us for the exclusive SCORES Cup After-Party. Every volunteer will get a free SCORES Cup t-shirt to wear for the event and to keep!

Shift One: 6:00am-11:00am

Shift Two: 11:00am-5:00pm

 

Ball-boys: Every great soccer tournament needs great ball-boys! This is a good chance for anyone who is eager to watch the games to get the opportunity to be as close to the action as possible.

 

Field Marshals: Are you organized? Don't have a problem giving instructions to large groups? Our field marshals are charged with the very important responsibility of reporting scores and making sure every team gets to the right field in the Peir 40 Complex for the correct game.

 

Check-In: A chance to meet plenty of new people, our check-in volunteers should be comfortable interacting with a large number of different guests, as well as able to manage our rosters and player waivers quickly and efficiently. Detail-oriented is a huge plus.

 

Food & Drink: Do you love food? And water? Volunteer to work for our food & drink table, and get free extras of both! Thanks Subway and Pepsi, the Official Food & Drink Sponsors of the SCORES Cup, everyone in attendance for the Cup will get sandwiches and water bottles for free (including volunteers).

 

Photography/Videography: Want to be involved in the SCORES Cup, but tend to enjoy artistic endeavors more so than athletic ones? We are always looking for volunteers to help us in documenting our biggest day of the year! 

 

Raffle Tickets: Throughout the day, members of the SCORES staff and family will be selling raffle tickets for our raffle draw, which will take place during the after-party. As there's only a limited number of us, we would love help with going around and making sure every team in attendance has been asked if they are interested in purchasing a ticket!
