NEW YORK SCORES BOARD CHAIRPERSON

Prior to joining Cohesive Capital, where he is responsible for the evaluation, execution, and ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of investments in a variety of industries, Adam worked at Madison Dearborn Partners in Chicago and began his career at UBS Investment Bank in the Global Industrials Group.

Adam graduated from Bucknell University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Economics and received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He has been an avid fan and recreational player of soccer since he was young, and he previously served on the Board of Directors of Chicago SCORES prior to moving back to New York.

MARKETING DIRECTOR AT FRONTIER COMMUNICATIONS

NEW YORK SCORES BOARD VICE CHAIR

At Frontier Communications, the largest pure-play fiber provider in the US, Nicole focuses on Go-To-Market and integrated marketing strategy. Prior to Frontier, Nicole worked at Samsung on the Television business leading US marketing. Nicole graduated from Colby College located in Waterville, Maine.

She has been volunteering with New York SCORES since 2015 and is passionate about supporting youth in under-resourced communities, especially in New York City where she resides.

MARKETING SPECIALIST AT PLAYBACK HEALTH

NEW YORK SCORES BOARD SECRETARY

Liz is based in Bushwick, Brooklyn and is finally a "real New Yorker" after living here for a decade. She is from the DC area and a UVA grad who majored in Poetry Writing.

Currently Liz is working as a Marketing Specialist for Playback Health, a health tech startup. She also provides marketing services to startups and nonprofits with an emphasis on community building, experiential design and special events. On the side, Liz is a vinyasa yoga teacher at Sparsa Brooklyn, studio artist, and marathon runner who loves spending time outdoors and rescuing stray cats. She served on the New York SCORES Junior Board for 8 years before graduating to the Board of Directors on which she has served for almost three years.

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR AT WPP MEDIA

GOVERNANCE COMMITTEE CHAIR

Prior to working In Integrations at WPP Media, Delia spent a few years at SOL and before that, NBC Universal, first as a Senior Business Analyst at Peacock and then as a Business Technology Manager for NBCU's Operations & Technology team. Delia spent her early career at HBO in technical and tactical project management, working in Media & Technology Operations.

She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. degree in Engineering Science and from the Emma Bowen Foundation Fellowship. She is passionate about helping students of diverse backgrounds, and mentoring within her community. She volunteers for various organizations, sits on 3 non-profit boards, and is a soccer coach as well as an active soccer player.

DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE CHAIR

At Workweek, Mike oversees marketing strategy and audience growth. Previously, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Digiday Media. A graduate of SUNY Geneseo, Mike earned his undergraduate degree while playing intercollegiate soccer and later completed his MBA at Binghamton University.

A Long Island native and lifelong soccer enthusiast, Mike has been working with New York SCORES since joining the Junior Board in 2017. He is the proud holder of the record for most appearances at SCORES Cup, net minding for multiple sponsors of our organization.

SENIOR MANAGER AT ARES MANAGEMENT

FINANCE COMMITTEE CHAIR

In his role at global alternative investment manager Ares, Joe specializes in the accounting and financial reporting for the private equity vertical of the secondaries investment group. Before joining the firm, he gained valuable experience at Lime Rock Partners and started his career at Ernst & Young. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Western Connecticut State University, where he was also a member of the varsity soccer team. Joe furthered his education with a Master of Science (MS) in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

Outside of his professional life, Joe remains active in soccer and is excited to coach his daughter as she embarks on her own soccer journey.

BOARD MEMBER

Adam is a Partner in the law firm King & Spalding's Corporate Finance and Investments practice. Adam regularly represents private equity funds, private and public corporate clients, pension plans, family offices and investment banking firms in the U.S. and cross-border M&A, private equity, joint venture, venture capital and other complex corporate transactions. He has significant experience in a variety of sectors, with a focus on the energy, infrastructure and natural resources, and the telecommunications, media and technology sectors. Adam has been a Board Member at New York SCORES for over ten years and has played as a regular SCORES Cup captain while also serving on the Governance Committee of our Board. Originally from Hungary, he lives with his family in Manhattan.

MANAGING DIRECTOR AT KIMMERIDGE

Julian is a Managing Director on the investor relations team at Kimmeridge. He has 20 years of experience in investor relations and business development. Prior to joining Kimmeridge, he was Managing Director and Head of Institutional Business Development at Krane Funds Advisors. Prior to Krane, he was a senior member of the institutional business development team at VanEck.

Julian graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science where he was a member of the Men's Varsity Soccer team. Although he has played soccer his whole life, he now spends most of his time at the field coaching his children. Julian lives on Long Island with his wife and three daughters.

MANAGING DIRECTOR AT MACQUARIE CAPITAL

Dan's role in the Green Investments Group sees him focusing on principal investments in the renewable energy space in the Americas. He has been at the Macquarie Group for over a decade across both the London and New York offices, and during that time, he has been part of a number of large-scale acquisitions of Macquarie portfolio companies, and sits on the Board managing two of these currently.

Prior to relocating to New York in 2015 Dan lived in the UK, where he earned a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Durham. He is a Fulham supporter and a regular participant at SCORES Cup, including his team's proud achievement of last place at Winter Cup 2019.

Phillip is a seasoned corporate governance, risk management, and compliance executive. He is the founder and Managing Director of Square One Risk, a Dallas-based risk management advisory firm. Prior to Square One, Phillip served as Chief Audit Executive for Vanguard (the world’s 2nd largest asset manager with ~$7T in managed assets) and held executive risk management positions with Comcast Corporation.

Phillip began his career as a consultant with PwC, Protiviti, and Arthur Andersen. Phillip is passionate about being of service to the greatest number of people and actively supports causes creating equitable opportunity for underserved communities in the areas of organizational leadership, affordable housing, and access to quality education.

As part of the Strategy unit, Danny has over a decade of experience advising private equity and corporate clients in the retail and consumer sectors. He specializes in growth strategy and commercial due diligence, helping clients unlock value and drive strategic success.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Danny relocated to New York in 2022 and now calls the Lower East Side home. A lifelong competitive soccer player and devoted Liverpool supporter, he believes in the power of soccer to build confidence, teamwork, and opportunity. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AT JPMORGAN CHASE

Kate Rosen is an Executive Director for JPMorgan Chase's Innovation Economy business within the Commercial Bank. Kate is responsible for working with the business to set and drive the execution of the Innovation Economy growth plan strategy. Prior to this, Kate spent over a decade in J.P. Morgan's Private Bank where she held roles in Investment Solutions Business Management, including Head of Business Management for Multi-Asset & Portfolio Solutions, and worked in the Private Bank's Boston Office.

Kate holds a Masters of Global Business Administration from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a B.S. in Economics-Finance from Bentley University, where she was also a captain of the women's lacrosse team. She lives in the Upper West Side with her husband.

Sarge is the Head of Digital Marketing at Advent, a leading global private equity firm, where he focuses on digital and content strategy. Prior to joining Advent, Sarge was a Vice President on the Digital, Paid, and Analytics team at Prosek Partners.

Sarge graduated from Hamilton College with a BA in Africana Studies and a secondary focus in Digital Arts. With his playing days largely in the rearview but the friendships and lessons as relevant as ever, Sarge is a large believer in the ability of soccer to drive personal growth and foster community.

TAX DIRECTOR, A PRIVATE FAMILY OFFICE

Samuel Oduro is a Tax Director and trusted advisor with deep expertise in strategic tax planning, Ultra High-Net-worth individual taxation, and cross-border compliance. As Tax Director at a Private Wealth Family Office, he leads the U.S. tax team in serving a global clientele having previously held leadership roles at Ernst & Young (EY), PwC, and Grassi & Co.

Samuel holds an MBA in Accounting and a certificate in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School Online. Beyond the boardroom, Samuel brings a lifelong passion for youth development and sports, having coached in the NCAA and at the New York Red Bulls. His YouTube Channel (Empower Capital) recently amassed over 170,000 subscribers within the first 14 weeks of launch while he leads financial empowerment efforts at Christ Church, New Jersey.

Derek is responsible for overseeing the firm’s organic and strategic growth initiatives, ensuring the delivery of superior client service, and nurturing a corporate culture that aligns with Cumming Group’s mission, vision, and core values. An experienced Chartered Surveyor with 25-plus years of experience, he has participated in the development of more than 150 projects, with a unique specialization in hotel, resort, timeshare, and multi-family properties.

Derek served as an integral member of Cumming Group’s executive team for more than 15 years before his appointment as President & CEO in September 2022. Since ascending to the chief executive role, he has set a mission for Cumming Group to be the most trusted team in the built environment. Originally from Scotland, Derek lives with his family in Connecticut.
